Plenary sessions and workshops will be chaired and delivered by highly experienced professionals and business leaders.

Topics:

 

Advanced topics and issues affecting today’s dynamic business landscape such as the latest in financial-business strategies, the present and future trend in management and marketing, information communication technology, trade and regulations issues, Islamic finance, accounting, ethics, governance and standards are among key topics which will be explored and deliberated further.


WCOA 2010 Organising Committee is seeking input from all interested parties suggestion for topics of relevance and interest to the profession that should be discussed at the Congress in 2010. All suggestions are to be sent to topic_wcoa@mia.org.my.

CPE Hours

 
 

The Continuing Professional Education (CPE) requirement was introduced and made mandatory by MIA on 1 March 1992. This was earlier than most established professional accountancy bodies in the world. 16 CPE hours will be awarded to delegates upon attendance of all sessions of the Congress.
