Speaker’s Profile:

Nor Fazilah Mohd Razali is IRDA’s Senior Vice President of Corporate Management and Finance. Fazilah is a Chartered Accountant of MIA and a Fellow Member of ACCA. She has diverse experience in audit, manufacturing, investment holding, investor relations and corporate planning. She joined IRDA in 2009 and was involved in several key tasks for IRDA’s internal and external stakeholders such as development of Iskandar Malaysia (IM) Healthcare sector investment guide and promotion booklet, Tourism Lab Report for the Johor City & Corridor Lab, IM Strategic Paper for the 11th Malaysian Plan. Upon completion of IM’s Revised Comprehensive Development Plan (CDPii), she led IRDA’s Moving Forward (IMF) Working Group to develop IRDA’s 2016 to 2025 high-level strategies and business plans. She also assisted in the development of the Johor State EXCO Members’ Key Performance Indicators (KPI) in 2014 and served as the Liaison Officer for several studies undertaken by Federal Agencies.

Fazilah obtained her ACCA qualifications at Emile Woolf College of Accountancy, London. Upon her return in 1994, she started her career as an auditor with a well-known accounting firm in Malaysia, providing audit and advisory services to various clients in property development, investment holding, hotelier, manufacturing and stock broking industries before leaving the firm in 2005 to join a Public Listed Company as the Group Finance Manager and subsequently promoted to Group Financial Controller.
