GUIDANCE ON FINANCIAL REPORTING IN THE GLOBAL FINANCIAL CRISIS

The Malaysian Institute of Accountants is pleased to launch a set of guidance titled Facing The Financial Global Crisis: Guide For The Preparation Of Upcoming Financial Reports to assist preparers, members of the board, audit committee as well as the auditors in carrying out their respective roles in the financial reporting process.

The guidance is targeted for those involved directly in the financial reporting chain and the information disseminated contains existing guidelines on key areas of concern that need to be considered by the reader in light of the current economic conditions.

MIA believes that during these challenging times, individuals involved in the financial reporting process will assist in restoring the faith and confidence in business via reliable and relevant financial reporting.
