The Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) held its first PAIB Members
Engagement Session in Kuala Lumpur yesterday.
The MIA President Datuk
Mohd Nasir Ahmad delivered the opening address in a half day event that
attracted members from commerce and industry and practitioners.
Issues
encompassing updates and developments concerning MIA Professional Accountants in
Business activities were shared with the audience. Two guest speakers from
Suruhanjaya Syarikat Malaysia were invited to update members about Limited
Liability Partnership Act 2012, XBRL and the new Companies Bill.
