Member Induction Course e-learning (MIC)
The MIC is
conducted via e-learning for the Institute's new members to give members
an in-depth understanding of the accountancy profession in Malaysia at.
It is an effective platform that prepares members for their
responsibilities and inspires the values that are crucial for
accountants to posses in serving the public.
The requirement to
attend the Member Induction Course is provided under Section 400 of the
Institute’s By-laws (On Professional Ethics and Conduct Practice) and
new members are to attend the MIC within six (6) months from their
admission dates.

To begin
your learning process, please follow these simple steps:
Step1: Visit the MIA e-learning portal
Step 2: Register as an e-learning portal member

Click on New
User link |
|
- |
Key in your
Member ID and click on the SEARCH button |
|
- |
Key in your
password and click on the SUBMIT button |
Step 3: Enrol in the Member Induction Course
|

Click on the
Course list link |
|
- |
Then, click
on the ENROL NOW button |
* You have 14 days to register for the e-MIC
Step
4: Select Payment Method
|
- |
Click on
either Online Payment or Offline Payment button. (Refer Step 4a or Step
4b for selected payment method) |
Step 4a: Online Payment
|
- |
If you click
on the Online Payment button, you will see the third party payment
gateway page (iPay88 Virtual Cart Payment). |

- |
Complete the
form and select your payment type |
|
- |
Please do
not forget to insert you Member ID in the Remark column (* for tracking
purpose) |

- |
Once done,
you will receive payment successful message. An email notification will
also be sent to your email address |
|
- |
We will
activate your course account upon receiving payment confirmation |
|
- |
You will
receive a notification email from us informing that you can access the
course |
Step 4b: Offline Payment
|
- |
If you click
on the Offline Payment button, you will see an offline payment form |
|
- |
Complete the
form and click on the SUBMIT button |
|
- |
Once done,
you will receive a notification message. Note that you have enroled for
the course but pending for payment |
|
- |
Please make
payment to MIA as soon as possible |
|
- |
You will
receive a notification email from us informing that you can access the
course once payment is received |
* For members who have already made payment to MIA, you
can skip Step 3 and Step 4.
Step 5: Starting a Course

Login into
the portal (key in your Member ID and password) |
|
- |
You will be
directed to the Learning Management System (LMS) |
|
- |
Click on
MyCourse button |
|
- |
You can see
Member Induction Course in the Course list. |
|
- |
Click on the
course title and then click on the Learning Object icon. |
|
- |
Then click
on the course title to launch the course |
|
- |
You can now
begin your learning! |
