SURVEY ON GOODS AND SERVICES TAX (GST): BUSINESS READINESS |

|
|
Please be informed that the Tax Review Panel of Ministry of
Finance (MOF) is conducting a survey in order to assess the
readiness of businesses in preparing for the implementation of
GST in Malaysia and also to invite suggestions on how the
Government can further assist businesses in getting ready to
implement GST. As such, members are encouraged to participate in
the MOF survey. The survey form is attached for members’
attention.
Kindly complete the survey form and send to MOF via hand, post
or fax to MOF at the address appended in the form attached, or
alternatively email to taxation@mia.org.my or fax to 03-2273
1016 on or before
13 April 2012 for our necessary action.

INLAND REVENUE BOARD (IRB) RETURNS INCOMPLETE INCOME TAX RETURN FORMS (ITRF) |
|
|
|
|
|
The IRB has on 29 March 2012 released a press statement informing
that the incomplete ITRF will be returned to the taxpayers starting
from this year i.e. 2012.
In this regard, the IRB urges all taxpayers to submit their
duly completed ITRF to the
Processing Department at Pandan Indah before 30 April 2012 (for Form
BE) or 30 June 2012 (for Form B) to avoid late submission penalty
being imposed.
