National Award for Management Accounting (NAfMA) 2006

The NAfMA presentation dinner was held in Kuala Lumpur on 7 December 2006 and the award was presented by Deputy Minister of Finance I, YB Dato’ Dr Ng Yen Yen. Philips Lumileds Lighting Company Sdn Bhd won the Excellence Award of the NAfMA 2006 beating nine other finalists to take home the award which is coveted in the corporate circles.

The award recognises best practices in management accounting by companies in Malaysia that lead to value creation and excellent business performance. It also aims to promote the application of management accounting techniques and system within organisations in Malaysia.
