MIA and IAI sign MRA during NAC 2006

The Institute signed a Mutual Recognition Agreement (MRA) with Ikatan Akuntan Indonesia (IAI) on 31 October 2006 in Kuala Lumpur during the opening ceremony of the National Accountants Conference 2006. The signing of the MRA enabled eligible members of MIA and IAI to apply for admission into each other’s bodies. It is also to achieve the task set up by our respective governments in the Bali Concord II during the ASEAN Summit in 2003 to work towards MRAs in major professional services by the year 2008.
