Event Highlights (July 2006 – June 2007)

Forum on Consultative Document No 7

The forum was held on 5 March 2007 at the Concorde Hotel in Kuala Lumpur to discuss the seventh consultative document issued by the Corporate Law Reform Committee (CLRC), titled ‘Creating a Conductive Legal and Regulatory Framework for Businesses.’ The main objective of the event was to raise awareness among members about issues that were featured in the document as it was felt that some issues might have had far-reaching implications on them. It also gave members a platform to provide constructive views on the document and assist MIA in responding accordingly to the CLRC.
