Description about the Internal Audit Working Group (IAWG):
The IAWG’s main function is to support the development of best practices of internal audit in Malaysia through the promotion of internal audit standards and guidelines. To achieve its objectives, the working group works together with other stakeholders in promoting corporate governance, risk management and control. It also formulates projects that are aimed to create awareness on the importance of an internal audit function in an organisation.
