Description about the Globalisation and Liberalisation Committee :
The Globalisation and Liberalisation Committee studies the impact of progressive liberalisation in the development of competitive service sector, monitors and also participates in the liberalisation negotiations under the General Agreement of Trade in Services (GATS), ASEAN Framework Agreement on Services (AFAS) and Free Trade Agreements (FTA). The Committee also examines the opportunities and challenges faced by accountants in enhancing exports of services and formulate strategies to increase their participation in world trade in services.
